Admitting and Registration

Welcome to Oak Valley Hospital District.  We at Oak Valley Hospital have made a commitment to patient care and satisfaction. While a stay of any length at the hospital can be stressful, be assured we will do everything to make your stay with us positive and comfortable as possible.

Your visit to Oak Valley Hospital:

It is important to bring your insurance cards to the hospital. An admission staff member will make copies of the cards for billing purposes.

In an effort to keep you informed of the cost of your hospitalization, we will verify your insurance, compute and estimate the "balance due", and make financial arrangements at that time. You may need to make a deposit at the time of your admission.

If your are covered by Medicare, bring your Medicare card with you to the hospital. If Medicare determines that part or all of your stay is not covered, you will receive a bill from the hospital for the non-covered portion. The hospital accepts Visa and MasterCard to help you meet your responsibility.

Bring only those items essential to your comfort. You will want nightwear, a robe, slippers, and personal toiletries.  Please do not bring valuables since you will not have them with you during many medical procedures. Oak Valley Hospital is not liable for the loss or damage to personal property. We recommend that you leave your jewelry, credit cards and money at home. In an emergency situation, your nurse can place your wallet in a safe in the admission office.
