Our events and campaigns allow us to involve you and to raise funds
to help improve our programs and services.
Events
Spring Gala
The Spring Gala is an annual black tie optional dinner and
auction. It is an enjoyable evening of cocktails, hors
d'oeuvres, silent and oral auction, dinner, wine and dancing. Past
auction items have included trips to Hawaii, exotic cruises,
golf outings, weekend getaways to private cabins, catered dinners
and much more. The Gala is usually held the third Saturday in
April. Please check the community calendar for
specific dates.

Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of Members and Trustees is held each year in
June to update the membership on the state of the Foundation. This
dinner is held the third Wednesday of June and includes awards
to donors and trustees, scholarships and the installation of
incoming trustees and officers.

Sid Haidlen Memorial Golf Classic
The annual Sid Haidlen Memorial Golf Classic is an 18-hole
tournament held in October at the private Oakdale Golf and Country
Club. It is a fun and enjoyable day of golf, lunch, beverages on
the course, tee prizes, golf shirts, dinner and awards. The Haidlen
Memorial is one of the area's premier tournaments.

The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life lighting ceremony is a tribute to people who have
passed away or to a life that is to be remembered and celebrated.
The Tree of Life can also be for honoring a special person such as
a healthcare provider. The cost to sponsor a light in memory,
appreciation, or in honor of someone special is a minimum of
$10 per light. The tree lighting ceremony is held every
December at the corner of South Oak Avenue and H Street on
the Oak Valley Hospital grounds. The lights shine through the
first of the year.

Annual Membership / Year-End Giving Drive
Each year, beginning in November, a letter campaign is conducted
asking local residents for an end-of-the-year gift to the
Foundation. The tax-deductible donation helps the
Foundation continue its financial support to Oak Valley
Hospital.

Campaigns
Capital Campaign
Oak Valley Hospital Foundation currently does not have a Capital Campaign in progress but looks forward to one in the future! Oak Valley Hospital is expanding to meet the growing healthcare needs of our communities. We'll have a brand new, two-story hospital with an expanded emergency room and outpatient services, and private patient rooms. Our surgical services, lab and imaging deaprtments will have state-of-the-art technology. And, the Family Centered Maternity Care Department will also be expanded. The local people and businesess of the surrounding communities realize the importance of having a hospital that serves our needs whether a large catastrophe or a minor illness. Oak Valley Hospital is a vital part of our communities.
