Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Therapy is an allied health
specialty service with medical direction in the treatment,
management, prevention, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients
with deficiencies and abnormalities of their respiratory
systems.
The patient population includes newborn
infants, pediatrics, adults and geriatrics. The scope of care in
the Respiratory Therapy Department encompasses two main functions:
Therapeutic and Diagnostic.
Our community outreach program includes
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and
Asthma.
